His first album in English has been released and the rest of the world has discovered just how wonderful he is.
Ricky Martin” is a big, bold album. That took two years for making it, with different sounds like: dance-pop; power ballads, midtempo pop, straight-ahead rockers and, of course,duets: Madonna on ”Be Careful (Cuidado Con Mi Corazon)” and Meja on ”Private Emotion”.

The new single is ”She's All I Ever Had”. It is a classic ballad. And they made a breathtaking video with this song.
On 1st November, Ricky Martin releases a follow-up. Entitled ”Shake Your Bon Bon”, it's a light-hearted Latin pop smash that should see him wiggling his hips back into the charts.

Back In The USA.
It seems there's no rest for Ricky Martin. After he winds up his current European concerts this summer and he'll go straight into the second leg of his US tour. It seems Ricky‘s taking it all in his stride though. ”I'm looking forward to coming back to the US and finishing up my tour,” he says, ”The audiences here have been very supportive and enthusiastic.”
For those of you lucky enough to be Stateside this summer, the dates kick off on the 9th June in Fort Lauderdale and finish on 27th July in Portland.
